Description
Costa Rica · Alajuela
Morning rolls over Arenal and this cup wakes up bright. First sip is sweet apple, then raisin, then a smooth honey finish. Medium roast keeps it lively without losing comfort. It is the kind of coffee you reach for when you want joy in the mug, not noise.
A quick nerd note, because it matters. Grown at 1300 to 1445 meters, the cooler air slows ripening so the beans get denser and the sweetness gets cleaner. Volcanic loam feeds the trees and adds a crisp, mineral snap. Caturra and Catuai are classic Costa Rica varieties that balance fruit and body. Eco pulped means the fruit is removed with very little water and a touch of sticky sweetness remains, then the beans are dried in the sun to lock in that honey vibe.
Brew it as a daily pour over or an easygoing espresso. Bright, smooth, zero bitterness.

Brewer’s Note
One of the most distinctive coffees I have tasted, and it climbed to the top of my list fast. You can taste the care from first sip to last. Bright apple, golden raisin, and honey. Clean. Smooth. Always delivers.
My go to brew is pour over at a 1:18 ratio. It also hits well as drip on a medium fine grind with a splash of whole milk.
